1. How payments & refunds work
Wake Wake is available exclusively on the iOS App Store. All in-app purchases, paid features, and auto-renewing subscriptions are processed directly by Apple Inc. using your Apple ID account.
Because payment transactions occur through Apple’s secure App Store commerce platform, Random Hit LLP does not directly bill your credit card, store payment details, or have the technical ability to issue direct refunds. All refunds are reviewed and processed directly by Apple in accordance with Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.
2. Subscription plans and free trial rules
Wake Wake offers two auto-renewing subscription tiers:
- Wake Wake Monthly: $7.99 per month. Billed automatically every month to your Apple ID until canceled.
- Wake Wake Annual: $24.99 per year (equivalent to ~$2.08/month, saving 74%). Includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
3-Day Free Trial Terms:
When you start an annual subscription with a 3-day free trial, you receive complete access to all Wake Wake features without charge for 3 days.
To avoid being billed for the annual subscription ($24.99), you must cancel the trial at least 24 hours before the 3-day trial period expires in your Apple ID Subscription Settings. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours prior to the trial ending, Apple will charge your Apple ID $24.99 and the subscription will renew annually.
3. How to request a refund from Apple
If you were charged unintentionally, forgot to cancel your trial, or experienced a technical fault, follow these steps to request a refund from Apple:
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or PC web browser.
Use the same Apple ID account used to download Wake Wake or purchase the subscription.
Under 'What can we help you with?', choose 'I'd like to' and select 'Request a refund'.
Select the reason for your refund request, click 'Next', check the Wake Wake transaction or subscription, and submit.
After submitting your request, Apple typically provides an update within 24 to 48 hours. You can return to reportaproblem.apple.com at any time to check the status of your claim.
4. How to cancel auto-renewal on your iPhone
Deleting the Wake Wake app from your iPhone does not automatically cancel your active App Store subscription. To cancel your subscription or trial so you are not billed in the future:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your profile name at the top of the Settings screen.
Find and select 'Wake Wake' in your active subscriptions list.
Confirm cancellation. You will retain access until the end of the trial or current billing period.
You can also manage subscriptions on the web via Apple Subscriptions Portal.
5. Consumer rights & statutory withdrawal
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have statutory withdrawal rights:
- European Union / United Kingdom / Norway / Switzerland: Statutory right of withdrawal may allow cancellation within 14 days of purchase through Apple.
- Australia / New Zealand / Canada: Consumer protection guarantees under local laws apply to digital purchases through Apple.
