Frequently Asked Questions
My alarm did not sound or was delayed. What should I check?
1) Confirm the alarm is enabled in Wake Wake. 2) Open iOS Settings → Wake Wake → Notifications, and confirm 'Allow Notifications' and 'Critical Alerts / Time Sensitive Notifications' are enabled. 3) Check that device volume is up and ringer switch is not silent if set to obey hardware switch. 4) Ensure your phone has sufficient battery and Focus modes do not suppress Wake Wake. We recommend setting a test alarm for 1 minute from now to test your sound settings.
How are subscriptions and refunds handled?
All purchases, trials, and renewals are billed through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles all billing and refunds. If you wish to request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. To manage or cancel your subscription, open iPhone Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Wake Wake.
How do I submit a bug report?
Please email support@randomhit.site with: 1) Your iPhone model (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro), 2) iOS version (e.g., iOS 17.5), 3) Wake Wake app version, 4) The alarm challenge you were using (e.g., Push-ups, Math), and 5) A description of what happened vs what you expected.
How do I delete my account and personal data?
You can delete your account by opening Wake Wake → Profile → Settings → 'Delete Account', or by emailing support@randomhit.site with the subject 'Delete My Account' from the email linked to your account. Local app data can also be cleared by uninstalling the application.
Why does Wake Wake request Camera permissions?
Camera frames for Wake Tasks (squats, push-ups, find-the-sky, make-the-bed) are downscaled on your device and sent to our server, and on to OpenAI, for one-time automated verification. They are processed in memory and are never stored — not by us, and not retained by OpenAI beyond its standard short-term abuse monitoring. Math and Number Lock require no camera at all.
Can I use Wake Wake if I have physical limitations or cannot exercise?
Yes! Wake Wake provides cognitive and accessible challenges such as Mental Math, Number Lock sequences, Color Matching, and standard alarm dismissal that require zero physical exertion.
